With the spirit of co-operation guiding them, our Kitchen Team has created a menu of Texas Pub Fare that complements our beer and is true to the vision of Black Star Co-op.

Over the past few years the desire for locally sourced and sustainably produced foods has gained momentum and moved into the public’s awareness. Austin is fortunate to be surrounded by a community of conscientious farmers and ranchers who are devoted to growing and raising the highest quality products for local consumption. We believe that our craft beers must be complemented by well-executed, high quality food, and will source as much of our food as possible from those producers.

Like the beer menu, the food menu features both Rational and Irrational components. Our Rational menu includes year round offerings while the Irrational menu is devoted to locally inspired seasonal fare that showcases the bounty of our region. The Irrational menu will change frequently, but we’ve been hard at work on the Rational menu for the past few months. A draft version is included below.
