“Hi there, I’m docur Steve Brut.”. Inspired by sweet berry wine, the Brut IPA has been taking the industry by storm as of late and we just couldn’t ignore the allure any longer. After much deliberation and market research (drinking), we decided to take a stab at the style, but wanted to make sure it was thoughtful and unique. The style is named after the Extra Brut Champagne wine that is characteristically dry, more acidic, and packed with bubbles. So, we lightly soured a pilsner base beer and hopped it with Hallertau Blanc hops which have distinct vinous aromas. Come grab a flute or beermosa and celebrate wine like beer!
