There's two sides to every story. On one hand, this is a classic revival of the Belgian witbier with lactic fermentation for a refreshing tartness. On the other, it's an entirely American beer with big spice character from cardamom, coriander, orange peel, lavender, and grains of paradise. This is the beer's first time on tap in Texas, and only the second time it's made it to Austin. We'll raise a glass (or two) to that.
