Cellar Release: 2013 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout

Traditionally, the release (and subsequent wild hunt) for Goose Island's BCBS falls on Black Friday - a day normally associated with your relatives (the ones you see once or twice a year) rousing you from feast-induced slumber at the crack of dawn to sit in traffic, wait in line, fight those crowds, all for 10% off small appliances and a chance at the hot new Tickle Me Miley that you'll inevitably sell at a loss on eBay. 

This year, join us in avoiding the crushing tides of obligatory capitalism. We've been good little hoarders all year. We can't help it. We held onto our 2013 BCBS release. This iteration is a whopping 14.9%abv, aged for 150 days in bourbon barrels and another 365 in our cellar. Dark and dense as a black hole, boasting a complex blend of charred oak, vanilla, caramel, coffee, and smoke. We'll be cracking this one open a little early - the day before Thanksgiving.
