Our dear Karinne is moving to the not-so-sunny part of California. We’re going to miss her very much and want to give her the kind of send off she deserves: we’re going to stuff her full of burgers and beer!

Karinne joined the Workers’ Assembly during the summer of 2009 and oversaw the build-out and LEED Certification of our brewpub.* Once we opened, she got the Pub Team up and running before moving over to the Beer Team, becoming our first cellar-woman, and served at the Board Staff Liaison (BSL) for the past year. It’s hard to imagine Black Star without her, and we’ll miss her cheerful demeanor, helpful attitude, and willingness to tackle any project. Please join us on Monday, July 9th at 8:00 for her going away party.
