Black Star Co-op brewer, Jeff Young, will be on hand to sample the Co-op house beers. He’ll be giving the history of the beers, current recipes, and soliciting feedback.
This event is free for member-owners and $6.50 (the cost of a Co-op sampler flight) for non-members. Member-owners, have your member numbers ready!
Format:
When you come in to Black Star, go to the bar and obtain a sampling glass and a token (free or $6.50). Go to the Event Dining Space. Around 5pm, Jeff will start pouring the first beer to everyone. Each of the rational beers will get about 15 minutes of tasting, history, and recipe notes, and then we’ll move on to the next beer. Around 6pm, we will start over for the new people to partake in the sampling (tokens are only good for one round of samplings…but you can buy another!).
