Are you ready for this? Friday, October 22nd kicks off Austin Beer Week. Make sure to put these events on your calendar so you don’t miss out on them at your Co-op!
Sat. Oct. 22nd: 4th Day of Strong in the “7 Days of Strong” Series, featuring 2010 (512) Bruin
Sun. Oct. 23rd: 5th Day of Strong in the “7 Days of Strong ” Series, featuring Jester King Farmhouse Wytchmaker and Farmhouse Black Metal. This is a quadruply great event, as it’s also a Glass Night and Meet the Brewers Event.
Mon. Oct. 24th: 6th Day of Strong in the “7 Days of Strong” Series, featuring Real Ale Sisyphus and Cask ESB. For this Real Ale Showcase, we’ll have a limited supply of Real Ale glassware, along with members of their brewery on site with SWAG. (Cask ESB tapped at 6:00pm.)
Tue. Oct. 25th: 7th (and last) Day of Strong in the “7 Days of Strong” Series, featuring the one, only, and brand-new Epsilon from your very own Black Star Co-op. This will be the first tap of this Irrational, Infinite Series brew.
Wed. Oct. 26th: Brewery Tour & Tasting.
Brewer Jeff Young will lead you through the brewing process of Black Star Co-op house beers, while answering your questions over samples. (7:00pm; Free for Member-Owners; $5 for the public; includes one 6oz sample.)
Thur. Oct. 27th: Beer & Cheese Pairing.
Sample a flight of 4 Black Star Co-op beers, paired with local cheeses and tasting notes from brewer Jeff Young and Kitchen Team Gastronomists. (7:00pm; $7 for Member-Owners; $10 for the public)
Sat. Oct. 29th & Sun. Oct. 30th: $10 Growler fills of Rational house beer. (All day)
