Now is a great time to help lead our Co-op! As a democratically-governed co-operative, electing our own Board of Directors is a privilege of being a Member-Owner. Running for the Board is your opportunity to bring enthusiasm, ideas, and effort to Black Star Co-op. There are four (4) seats open this fall on the Board of Directors.
On May 19th we held our Spring Members’ Assembly meeting to present the annual report. The Board of Directors reported on our Ends policies, and the Workers’ Assembly reviewed the 2012 financials and gave an operations update. We also shared the results of the most recent member-owner survey.
