Yes…rub your eyes, grab some Visine and focus on the beauty that is CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS!

As Jeff mentioned in last week’s blog, the start of construction was ignited by the initial demo work of saw cutting of the existing concrete for the various trenches for plumbing throughout the space. As exciting as it was to see something finally happening within the space, with permeating dust clouds of concrete in the air,  we were happy to peer in at a safe distance.

In a nutshell, here’s a list of the completed work within the space this week:

* Concrete saw-cutting for trenches completed & concrete removal
* Window panel removed & temporary door affixed: entrance for excavator and scissor lift
* Rough electrical along ceiling & walls.
* Temporary lighting
* Lighting boxes affixed
* Subterraneanexcavation for plumbing
* Rough plumbing began
* Metal studs for brewery cold room delivered

Next week, we can anticipate the completion of the excavation and rough plumbing,  and then it’s “pour-back” (concrete)-time. By the end of next week, we’ll be gearing up for the framing to commence, which will be the tipping point for the construction-snowball!…snow….mmmm shaved ice sugary goodness….back on track!

I ‘ve been posting DAILY PHOTOS of the construction progress on our facebook gallery, so check back time to time and watch your brewpub grow! There could not be a better time to watch your dollars be literally hard at work! So please SHARE our gallery with all your friends ( via facebook or email…tweet or beak or chirp it out) and encourage friends and family to further support in constructing this amazing space!

WOOT!
