Last Sunday, October 16th, we held our Fall Members’ Assembly Meeting, which concluded the voting period for the new Board of Directors and the four charitable organizations to support in the upcoming year. We had 5 great candidates running for 3 available seats on the Board of Directors, and a slate of 10 nonprofits.
Here are your newly-elected Directors:
- Johnny Livesay
- Erin O’Bryant
- Mark Wochner
We look forward to working with the following organizations in 2012:
- The People’s Community Clinic of Austin
- SafePlace Austin
- Sustainable Food Center
- Third Coast Workers for Cooperation
Congratulations everyone!
The Board would like to thank everyone for running, and it would especially like to express its deep gratitude to the out-going directors, Colin Clark and Jessica Cassidy. Colin and Jessica have contributed greatly to the Co-op during its transition from an idea to an actual, cooperatively owned and worker self-mangaged brewpub! Their contributions, especially to the development of our Co-op, will have long-term positive effects on the Co-op for years to come.
